Restoring Lives Through Faith and Second Chances

13:3 Collective is a faith-based nonprofit serving incarcerated individuals through mentorship, ministry, and creative expression. We bring hope behind bars by helping individuals rediscover purpose and rebuild their lives.

Inspired by Hebrews 13:3

“Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” — Hebrews 13:3.

A worn but carefully preserved leather-bound journal lies open on a smooth wooden table, its pages filled edge to edge with intricate pencil drawings and neatly written verses. A simple graphite pencil rests diagonally across the center crease, its tip slightly dulled. In the background, a small stack of manila envelopes is tied with twine, labeled with neat handwriting. Soft morning light filters through an unseen barred window, casting gentle linear shadows across the pages and table surface. Photographic realism with a calm, hopeful mood, shot at eye level with a shallow depth of field that keeps the journal in sharp focus while the envelopes blur softly behind, conveying dignity, creativity, and second chances without showing any people.
A neat display table is arranged in a minimalist gallery-like space, featuring framed artwork created with colored pencils and ink. The central piece is a vivid landscape in a simple matte-black frame, propped on a small easel, while surrounding pieces lie carefully stacked with corners slightly offset to reveal different designs. Beside them, a transparent donation box contains folded bills and a handwritten label reading "Commissary & Reentry Support." Diffused overhead lighting creates soft reflections on the donation box and subtle shadows beneath the frames. Photographic realism, composed using the rule of thirds from a slightly elevated angle, with a calm, professional atmosphere that communicates purpose, stewardship, and hope without any human figures present.

Why 13:3 Collective Exists

13:3 Collective was created to remember those the world often forgets. We work with incarcerated individuals, giving them a voice through art, creativity, and connection. Every piece created carries a story — one of hope, redemption, and humanity. By purchasing or supporting, you are helping place funds back into inmate accounts and reminding them they are still seen, valued, and loved.

“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” — Jeremiah 33:3

Ministry

A carefully organized reentry resource desk featuring a clean manila folder stamped "Release Plan" in blue ink, resting atop a stack of printed checklists and brochures about housing, employment, and faith-based support. A modest ballpoint pen lies parallel to the folder’s edge, and a small cross pendant sits gently on top of the paperwork, its brushed metal surface catching the light. Behind, a corkboard displays pinned note cards with words like "Hope," "Grace," and "Second Chance" written in bold marker. Warm, soft overhead lighting creates inviting highlights and gentle shadows. Photographic realism, shot at a slightly elevated angle with sharp focus throughout, conveying structure, preparedness, and compassionate professionalism in a people-free scene.

Weekly Bible studies, prayer, and correspondence that remind incarcerated men and women they are seen, loved, and not forgotten.

A close-up of an institutional metal desk surface, softened by a neatly arranged collection of art supplies: a box of well-used colored pencils organized by hue, a small stack of blank cardstock, and a folded letter addressed to "My Family" in careful hand-lettering. The envelope’s corner is tucked under a finished drawing of a sunrise breaking over stylized prison walls, rendered in vibrant oranges and blues. Cool daylight streams from the left as if through a barred window, creating gentle, linear shadows across the desk and emphasizing the texture of the metal. Photographic realism with a contemplative, hopeful mood, captured from an overhead perspective, emphasizing symmetry and clean composition without showing any people.

Reentry mentoring, resource referrals, and church connections that help returning citizens rebuild stable, Christ-centered lives after release.
